1. A note before launch
Tendi is a medication tracker being developed by Atlas-James in Kettering, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. You may also see the name TendiCare on its website, tendicare.app.
This is a pre-launch privacy notice. The app’s data-handling arrangements are not final. It is not yet a full privacy policy for a released app. The complete policy will be published at this address before launch.
2. What we’re building
Tendi is being designed to support medication reminders, dose tracking and a clearer view of your routine. Planned features include entering medication details manually or from a label photo, reviewing those details before saving, and recording taken or missed doses.
A planned Reminder Buddy feature would let you invite a trusted person to a limited support view. The intended design lets you remove access and does not let a buddy edit medication or mark doses as taken. These features are still in development.
3. What the launch policy will explain
Medication information can reveal sensitive health details. Before launch, the full policy will explain the app’s actual handling of that information, including:
- What account, medication, dose and device information is collected, and why.
- What stays on your device and what is stored or processed online.
- How label scanning works, including any AI or image-processing providers.
- Who can access information, including service providers and an invited buddy.
- The lawful bases and applicable conditions for processing health information.
- Retention, backups, security, international transfers and account or data deletion.
- Any analytics or payment services, device permissions, age requirements and your privacy rights.
Those decisions are still being finalised. This notice does not make claims about a final storage model, provider list or deletion timetable.
4. Contact and updates
For questions about Tendi or its privacy plans, email hello@atlas-james.com and mention Tendi. Please keep initial enquiries free of medication records or other sensitive health details.
We will update this page as the privacy arrangements are confirmed, with a new date at the top. The final policy will remain at this same address.
