04 / AI & workflows

AI, with somewhere
useful to go.

An AI model is one part of the picture. We build the logic around it: connecting your systems, supplying the right context and turning an output into a useful next step.

The intelligence is only the beginning.

Getting value from AI takes more than sending a prompt. Your workflow needs the right inputs, access to relevant information, a way to check the response and a clear decision about what happens next. We design and build those connections around the process you actually need to improve.

That could mean extracting information from documents, bringing knowledge into an internal tool, or routing a task between services. We combine AI with conventional application logic where each makes sense, with permissions, review steps and fallback behaviour built into the workflow.

A few possibilities

What could this
look like for you?

Every project starts with your needs. Here are some of the problems we can help you explore.

01

Information into action

Extract, categorise or summarise incoming information, validate the result and route it to the right system or person.

02

Knowledge where it’s needed

Connect relevant business information to an AI-assisted tool, with access controls and a clear view of the sources behind an answer.

03

Connected, considered automation

Coordinate tasks across APIs and business tools, with explicit rules for when an action runs and when a person needs to decide.

A little clarity

Good questions.

Yes, where the systems provide suitable APIs or other supported integration methods. We assess permissions, data access, operating costs and technical constraints before proposing how the pieces should connect.

No. Predictable tasks often work better with conventional rules and code. We use AI where it adds something useful, then build explicit application logic around it. The process comes first, the model second.

We define what an acceptable result looks like, evaluate representative inputs, validate structured outputs and design fallback behaviour. For consequential actions, the workflow can require a person to review and approve the result. No model is treated as infallible.

We work through what data the workflow needs, which providers process it and who can access it. Provider settings, retention requirements and access controls are part of the design, with the approach agreed before connecting your systems.
