The challenge
Boudoir photography asks for a lot of trust before a client ever steps into the studio. The website has to reassure people, show the quality of the work and make getting in touch feel easy.
The business had also grown well beyond boudoir, into maternity, beauty, glamour, bridal and destination shoots, along with an online shop. The site needed to:
- Present every kind of shoot clearly without diluting the boudoir work Magdalena is known for.
- Rank locally for the searches that bring clients to the Northamptonshire studio.
- Keep the shop and stories working alongside the portfolio.
The solution
The new design is calm, editorial and led by the photography: generous white space, refined serif type and images given room to breathe. The homepage opens with the boudoir experience, then leads into each service in turn, with client reviews close by to answer the quiet "is this for me?" question.
Each type of shoot has its own page that can rank for its own searches, supported by client stories, frequently asked questions and clear studio details. The shop and basket sit in the main navigation, so gift vouchers and products are never more than a click away.
